Our Purpose


The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.


Membership

We invite anyone to join. You do not have to be a member of the United Methodst Church to be a member of the UMW. Only the UMW president must be a member of the UMC.


UMW Circles

Each Circle chooses from mission study programs which change yearly. This year’s study is Giving Our Hearts Away, Native American Survival.


Four General Meetings yearly

March - CALL TO PRAYER AND SELF-DENIAL Luncheon

May - The Annual Mother-Daughter Banquet and meeting with entertainment.

September - Kickoff Meeting with program introducing New Mission Studies, the Report of the Nominating Committee and the election of officers.

December - Christmas Meeting with the installation of officers and collection of the World Thank Offering.
